The International Society Of Interventional Neurology (ISIN) was created in 2011 with the purpose to serve and support the international community of trained and in training physicians with special interest in neurointervention. The society continues to evolve and expand internationally, counting with increasing number of members from different countries in the world. ISIN continues to contribute to the rapidly advancing field of neurointervention by supporting research and promoting international research collaboration. The society strives to share advances in the neurointerventional arena, by means of regular publications in journals dedicated to the field, including the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (JVIN), and periodic internationally organized meetings including the International Congress of Interventional Neurology (ICIN). The society is also actively involved to develop guideless for the practice of neurointervention with the ultimate goal of providing evidence based medicine to practitioners in the neurointervention field that will result in improved quality of care and outcomes
